Second single from Original Past Life's debut album 'The Times of Ceylon'
lyrics
Coral Gunning toured the world as a cabaret starlet in the 1930s, playing accordion and impersonating popular stars of the day for audiences throughout Europe and continental Asia. Upon her return to Perth, Gunning opened the quaint and genteel Windmill Tearooms, where she gave a leg up to many of Perth’s fledgling rock’n’roll performers, who played their first gigs at the venue in the mid-1950s. According to legend she was proposed to twenty-five times but never accepted.
